The process to access affordable EV's from Hyundai Australia

We exist to make electric vehicles affordable. That's why we have set up this great new deal with Hyundai Australia. We have worked out a way that you can access a brand new, 100% electric vehicle from one of Australia's modest trusted EV dealers. We do this by using our scale to enable you to access a "Premium Fleet Discount". That's the price that you would expect to pay if you were a Government or large fleet purchaser. You also get access to the full Hyundai manufacturer's warranty and battery warranty. We simply ask for $500 from you to support our work, this fee is included in the pricing calculators provided. By purchasing through us, you also get to support our social mission which is to decarbonise transport. So this option is great if you want to.

Learn

While we do want you to buy a Good Car, we'd be just as happy if you bought a good bike or good shoes. The goal here is to reduce your emissions. For those times you do drive, we offer you the option to drive electric.

First and foremost, we want you to help you to make a well-informed decision. We want to ensure that the car you choose will meet your needs, and we aren't interested in up-selling to something excessive. Range needs are a key consideration for deciding which EV model to choose. Consider how far you need to drive on a daily basis, then give yourself a buffer to allow enough range to meet the additional trips you might need to do.

If most of your driving will only require a small battery, but you do take infrequent longer trips, you could consider setting aside a small holiday fund used to rent a car, or you could set up a car share with a neighbor or friend.

Decide and Commit

Once you’ve researched whether a Hyundai is the EV for you and selected your model.  Click on the "place order button".  Fill in your details including any options (such as premium paint/ two-tone roof/ highlander: grey+blue interior)

We’ll invoice you $500 using "Stripe" (an online payment platform)  to become a member of the buyer’s group, and send your order and details to our contact at Hyundai.  We will send these through in a bulk order as we receive them.  From that point, Hyundai will contract you for the purchase of the vehicle and issue you  an invoice for your vehicle deposit. Hyundai advises that your deposit is not refundable, except in extenuating circumstances. Your membership fee is not refundable, because we will have spent this in the time required to negotiate a buyer’s group deal with Hyundai, and in delivery of our education campaign.

Delivery

The contract Hyundai sends you will be a contract between you and Hyundai. From the moment of signing your contract, Hyundai will look after you, and it is Hyundai’s responsibility to make sure that you have a good experience and get your car in appropriate time and condition. If you have any trouble, we would like to know about it, so that we can ensure we are partnering with the appropriate organisation that will provide good service to our good people.

How long does this all take?

Depending on your model your car may be available in stock or will need to be ordered from the factory flow.  Our advice is that there are extended range Kona vehicles and Ioniq 4's in stock at the moment but the other vehicles will be on order.  Likely delivery timeline 3-6 months (details on application)
